SIDVIN Festival of Speed and thrill at Buddh International Circuit
The SIDVIN Festival of Speed kicks off on Friday 29th nov,2012 at Buddh
International Circuit.it will end on 2nd dec. The event will feature two
international championships, namely the JK Racing Asia Series and the
MRF Challenge 2012,it also includes the final rounds of the JK Tyre
FMSCI National Racing Championship and the JK Tyre Volkswagen Polo R
Cup.
The weekend will feature 14 races with over 125 racers from India and
abroad. The JK Tyre FMSCI National Racing Championship will consist of
the JK Tyre Volkswagen Polo R Cup, LGB Formula 4, Indian Touring Cars
and the Indian Junior Touring Cars championships. The JK Racing Asia
Series and MRF Challenge 2012 had one of their rounds as a support race
along side the Formula One Indian Grand Prix, at Buddh International
Circuit last month.
Mohan Nagrajan, CMD of SIDVIN, said, “We are proud to bring in the
second edition of Sidvin Festival of Speed. The first was the FIM Asia
Road Racing Championship. This being the largest motorsport extravaganza
on the domestic front, with the country's largest sponsors and
promoters coming together after many decades, it is but natural for
Sidvin to be involved. This is a momentous occasion for Indian
motorsport fans and competitors alike. We are confident that this will
herald a new era in Indian motorsport.”
