MARUTI CELERIO DIESEL CAUGHT TESTING

The upcoming MARUTI CELERIO diesel has been caught testing in it's full glory by CarDekho team but it's still some time away from launch, it is reported that the CELERIO diesel has entered its final phase of testing and six prototypes have been sent to Japan to complete the final tests. Fresh off the production line, the CELERIO diesel was caught on camera in it's ZDi trim which will be available with all the options, including ABS as standard.

The new diesel engine is a 0.8L (793cc) twin-cylinder unit with common rail tech that has been completely developed in-house by Suzuki and will belt out 50 BHP of power. The engine will be the smallest capacity diesel in the country mated to a 5-speed manual box, this engine could achieve fuel efficiency figures as high as 30kmpl which will make it the most fuel efficient car in India. Maruti Suzuki could also offer the Celerio diesel mated to their very own AMT unit, which will be launched later, which will make the hatchback India’s most affordable diesel automatic.Maruti Suzuki is planning to launch the Celerio diesel in the next three months. Are we looking at the next blockbuster from Maruti Suzuki??!! I DOUBT NOT ..
