Lamborghini Huracan Super trofeo Blancpain :All you need to know

Oh we love race cars don't we??? they all are fast, sporty, aggressive looking, sharp, have holy materials like carbon fibre everywhere, they are light weight , no nonsense cars... and what could be better than a race car from a  brand that is well known for its fast cars, sharp and sporty looks ?
Well yes, you got it right, Its a talk about the Raging bull... Automobili Lamborghini.
Lamborghini just revealed a racecar based on their latest supercar the Lamborghini Huracan . This one is called the Huracan LP 620-2 super trofeo.

The Huracan LP 620-2 is developed from scratch by Lamborghini's new motorsports division, Squadra Corse together with Dallara, a firm that has been working with the company since the past, on cars like the legendary Lamborghini Miura. The car is built up to participate in Lamborghini's Blancpain Super Trofeo one make series which currently runds in Asia, Europe and North America. The car is also due to be developed to GT3 spec to replace the GT3 Gallardo that races in the Blancpain endurance series.

Here the race car produces an amount of 620 horsepower (merely 10 more than the huracan) delivering its power only to the rear wheels as denoted by 620-2 . But don't be fooled, this car is lighter to its road going sibling by a full 330 pounds(149 kgs.). The transmission is also upgraded to a racing 6speed Xtrack sequential
A whole new aerodynamic package includes a 10 position rear wing, front and rear diffusers as well as an adjustable air intake at the front. And the grip is provided by bespoke Pirelli tyres.

Haters have been criticizing the car on being safe on the styling side, being too safe, well guys what do you say now?

Here is a Video of the unveil of the car at pebble Beach, California
