Rolls-Royce working on new model; to hit market by mid 2016

Ultra-luxury auto maker Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is working to develop a model, which is expected to hit the market by mid-2016. The new car would further build on the success of company's existing product portfolio including Pantom, Ghost and Wraith.


"I am truely delighted to confirm the development of our new model which will open an exciting new chapter in the great story of Rolls-Royce Motor Car", Rolls Royce Motor added. Chief Executive Torsten Muller-Otvos said in a statement.



The company is currently developing an exciting and contemporary interpretation of a pinnacle drop-head tourer which will introduce even more discerning men and women to Rolls-Royce ownership, he added. RRMC Chairman Peter Schwarzenbauer said: "When it arrives in 2016, this elegant and sensuous new car will build on the success of our current models and will play a key part in fulfilling RRMC's commitment to long-term sustainable growth." The new car is currently undergoing a rigorous process of prototype testing as it enters its next stage of development , he added.
