Transform wheels into moving LCD by worldmoto compnay.

We know how people are crazy to make their vehicles customized till their limit of wish. Putting radium stickers, Lights etc on rims of the wheels are the thing of the past.Every time, They try with new accessories. But the trend would definitely change that you would figure out after reading this post.
This is the new accessory in the world is about to hit the new market a tyre upgrade known as ‘wheelies’.This will show Video, Animations, Images and Text in a LED screen. This LED tyre upgrade is developed by Bangkok  based company worldmoto having three products in its portfolio namely  YES, MOTOMETER and WHELLIES.This will turn your motorbike into running LED screen with static image.worldmoto has designed and made this LED screen such that image remains static even if tyre rotates at higher revolution.

Mr. Paul Giles, CEO of World Moto says, "The technology has the potential to turn essentially any wheel in the world into a brilliant, full-color billboard or video screen. It gives their bike a face sort of avatar.”

You must me wondering the secret behind this wheelies. It's based on persistence of vision which involves creating an illusion of motion by moving still images at high speeds. In real, the images do move along the tyre but when they're made to stream at this fast speed, they happen to appear static and hence, the display remains constant. The wheelie has 424 LED lights which are fixed on the eight spoke wheel and controlled by a computer that caters for the wheel’s speed and the position of each spoke during movement.

In this video,Girls prefer to go with a guy who has fitted wheelies in his vehicle  rather than simple guy who drives without wheelies. How amusing it is!

The gadget has been exhibited at Sign Asia Expo and its expected price is somewhere near $1,000 which entirely depends on the size of the wheel.
World Moto’s Chief Technology Officer, Chris Ziomkowski said; ‘You have to track the where the wheel is at any given time and have to know the exact position of each blade. Then you have to light the LEDs based on what you want the picture to be, and you have to do that very fast.’
He also told that the idea of wheelie came to his mind thanks to the light-sabers in Star Wars film and the scene where it was spun in the air.
