Thanks to his family for fulfilling wish to be
buried of 82 year old, died of lung cancer ,Billy stadley in transparent
casket in MECHANICSBURG, Ohio, US. Billy stadley dressed in
leathers,white helmet,sun glasses sitting on top of 1967 Electra
Glide cruiser as if He was riding bike.
For the years Billy stadley used to tell family
and friends that he didn't just want to ride off to heaven, he wanted the world
to see him do it in a big see-through box.
The workers needed extra efforts to dig. Five
workers were working to prepare using with a metal back brace and straps so
that his body would remain in contact with the bike.
"He was a quirky man," daughter Dorothy
Brown said. "But when it comes to us kids, he loved us, he raised us well
and, of course, we wanted to help him."
“He’d done right by us all these years, and at least
we could see he goes out the way he wanted to,” Pete Standley said.
The Dayton Daily News reported that Standley, of
Mechanicsburg, west of Columbus, died of lung cancer Sunday at age 82. He was
buried on Friday.
